This Week's Treasures

Hi friends! This week has almost blown by already, so I want to take a moment to savor it.

Although I am tired of the cold & dreary weather we've been experiencing so far this year, I do enjoy a good thunderstorm every now and then. I find them a little romantic and want to grab my man and go dancing in the rain. Well, no thunderstorms, but we did get quite a bit of hard rain yesterday, and on my way home from work I spotted a beautiful full rainbow. I adore the little things in life. Rainbows are one of those little treasures I like to savor. When I was a little girl I remember thinking that perhaps rainbows were like Santa & the Easter bunny- totally made up by adults to entertain little kids. But the first time I finally saw one with my own eyes I was speechless. Even as I child I had chills at the thought of God's promises to us as his children. I still feel that same way. So here's a photo of one of yesterday's little treasure over our home.

And lastly yet most excitingly & importantly, our little baby is 14 weeks along. He or She can smile & make facial expressions and suck his or her little thumb! It brings us so much joy and anticipation to know our little baby is growing. And so is my bump! Here's to the next 6 months of pregnancy and preparing for the bundle of joy that will forever change our lives in the best possible way!
